Text Messages

Another way of getting our Music Video out there was we sent out the music video to a few people who would be the target audience to see their response and opinion of it. We thought word of mouth was a good way to see if people enjoyed the Music Video. The response was what we had hoped and it appealed to our target audience immensely. I am really pleased with these results. This method of gaining feedback from our target audience had positives and negatives due to you only being able to see the music video if you had 3G or wifi.

Facebook Feedback

After finally getting our Music Video finished we wanted to get some feedback from the public.We posted our Music Video on to Facebook in hopes that people would like it and respond. The results were good. Many people liked it and ended up sharing it to their page meaning more then just them could watch it. The feedback was positive and no one said anything bad about our attempts of making a Music Video. We are pleased people enjoyed it. It is a really good relief having people enjoy our Music Video after the long efforts we put into making it.

Final Viewing.

This is our final finished Music Video. This thursday we got given feedback. There wasn't much only to improve on the lip syncing and add the titles. The problem with the lip syncing was that it was fine on final cut but when it got exported it wasn't as good and it was slightly out of time. We have sorted this now and it looks much better. We also made sure to add the titles. All this was done after the final viewing. We were incredibly happy with the response and all three of us felt very proud.

Finishing Up

In todays lesson we finished up on the filming and editing. We have completely finished now and are ready to show it to the class next thursday to get out final feedback. We have no spaces left to fill when it comes to editing and we have tried our hardest to work on the feedback we gained previously. I am incredibly pleased with the final result and I feel our hard work has paid off. Everything we could possibly do to try and improve we have tried.

Behind the Scenes - Tuesday

Today we decided to film as many scenes as possible to try and bring our filming to an end. We managed to film about three scenes, one of them being the key ending scene. I am very pleased with them, they haven't been edited yet but scrolling through on the camera they are looking good. I am very pleased with the ending also. We literally have one more scene to film and we can end the filming process and onto finishing the editing.

Print Advert

This is the print poster I have created after gaining the feedback from last Thursday. I have made sure the poster and digipak has similar aspects and even though I prefer my digipak I do think its not overly bad. I feel maybe it is a little text heavy and there isn't much to look at but I feel like the colours work and by looking at the poster you can tell what the digi will look like.

DigiPak Printed

After adding the finishing touches to my developed Digipak I printed it out to ensure it was what I wanted it to look like and it is safe to say I am pleased with the result. Compared to my other digipak I prefer this so much more. In my opinion the colours and design are more likely to be seen with an indie band. I feel that if I had to develop it any further maybe I would think about putting an image on the front but at the same time it could be the case that it would be far too much to look at if I did so. My Digipak doesn't have any proper band photographs only silhouettes but in my opinion I feel this is okay considering the genre. I feel like they wouldn't be trying to sell their image only their music.
