Feedback sheets

In todays lesson we presented a presentation to the class to gain feedback on what they thought on our band, our logo, our song, our music video idea's, etc. A majority of the class had concerns that as it is a stop motion it will take a large amount of time to create but after experimenting and creating a short clip to see what the stop motion will look like we did realise it was time consuming but the final product looked good and we were very pleased and decided to carry on with our stop motion music video. 

What the class thought was our strong points though was how we had thought everything out with detail and we had good research and planning.

DigiPak preperation

I have decided in my Digipak I would like to have a plain bright white background so the colours which are on it stand out especially the bright play dough balls I want scattered around the digipak and so I
went out and brought some play-dough so I can start creating things for the digipak very soon.

Tuesday 22nd October Lesson

In today's hour lesson we had a go at story boarding. We have already filmed us having a discussion as to what we want to put in our music videos like all of our initial ideas and after that is edited it will be put on the blog. When story boarding we wanted to get plenty of Goodwins theory involved to we were thinking about how we could get that included. So far if we stick to our story board we have Goodwin's 'notion of looking' 'related text to visuals' and also 'narrative'. When story boarding we constantly had in our mind if it will be easy to film so when we come to filming it we wont have any surprises and it should be straight forward. After discussing the filming part we have set a date in the half term to get as much filmed as we can.

Track Listing

In today's lesson our group thought about what we need to do in the future and also we thought about our track listings. We sat down at the table and discussed our future plans and what we need to do in order to get together our individual digipaks.

Feedback with Leane

I was unable to get hold of the video which was recorded with the one on one with Leane but the feedback was roughly that I needed to post all of the posts I hadn't posted yet due to them being saved as drafts. Label each of my posts correctly and finally go into more detail when putting the posts up onto the blog. I have gone through and done everything Leane has asked. Hopefully I am now up to date and I will carry on doing her advise so I don't fall behind on the blog.

Logo Research

We gave out a questionnaire to our target audience of people aged 18-25 year old as we wanted to get an honest opinions of our chosen logo design. We wanted to know if the people of the public understood what genre of music our logo came from and all of them understood the genre. We also got feedback such as improvements. nearly all of them said we should add colour because it was too plain and boring. By doing this it has helped us understand what our target audience wants to see.
